A few of us walked about Gowanus.  Using a printout map of the area, we traced a beer can and sought to follow the resulting footprint.  The very nature of a circle is nearly incompatible with the grid of the city.  Buildings blocked our way.  Locked fences, straight lines, and a very dirty canal forced us to, well, circumvent our circle.
